About

I am first and foremost a Christ follower, not far behind that, I am a Husband to Kim and Father to George, Jordan, and Madeline.

I am Commissioned as an Elder in the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church still seeking Ordination. I graduated from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University with a Masters of Divinity in 2017. I have been appointed and serving as the Pastor of Blue Mound United Methodist Church in Denton, Texas since July 1st of 2017. I, with the church, received the One Matters award at Annual Conference in 2018 for growth in professions of faith at Blue Mound UMC.

My goal is to create insightful, relevant content that you can put to work in your personal and professional life. I create digital ministry content in order to make educated ministry more accessible, by leveraging my seminary training and local church experience with digital tools. Specifically, I desire to reach people who do not have access to seminary trained pastors and have grown a worldwide ministry effort. In coordination with this website, my digital ministry efforts include a Facebook Page, Youtube ChannelInstagram, and building of relationships with church leaders across the globe to find other more specific ways to help make more disciples of Jesus Christ.

My Biography

I was raised in a single parent home in Arlington Texas. I started my first business at the age of 8 years old and have always had a very entrepreneurial mind. I was often considered a trouble maker until after I embraced a relationship with God, it changed my life in a very real way. In High School I was a distance runner and I aspire to get back to running.

I graduated from McMurry University in Abilene with a major in Business Administration with a minor in religion. I met my wife Kim while at McMurry and we got married a week after I graduated. Upon graduation, I was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate of the class of 2009.
I have worked in full time ministry for 8 years and served in part time/volunteer capacity for several years before that.

My wife and I were married in 2009 and have three children (2 boys and 1 girl). In May of 2017 I graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU.

In my free time, I enjoy golf, photography/videography, talking with friends and family, and Writing.
